The Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Extended Limited Warranties offer 12 or 24 months of protection (up to 100,000 total vehicle miles) once your Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty expires by time duration.

Coverage includes your vehicle's powertrain components, suspension, brakes (excluding normal wear of discs and pads), steering, electrical systems, climate control, audio and navigation systems, central locking, convertible/retractable top systems (if applicable) and various additional components.

Every Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned (M-B CPO) vehicle is covered by the M-B CPO Limited Warranty, which runs for 12 months, up to 100,000 total vehicle accumulated miles,¹ as well as any remainder of your vehicle's original 4-year/50,000-mile Mercedes-Benz New Vehicle Warranty.  But what happens after that?

Fear not.  We designed the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Extended Limited Warranty program to let you widen your window of confidence.  The program lets you buy an extra 12 or 24 month of warranty coverage (from the expiration of the M-B CPO warranty, within 100,000 total vehicle-accumulated miles).²

It all adds up to being able to enjoy the reassurance of warranty protection on your Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle until it's up to seven years old or has traveled 100,000 total miles, giving you the security you want and the flexibility you need.

    Certified Pre-Owned Warranty Component Coverage

Engine and Drivetrain
Includes the engine, transmission, rear axle, cooling system and fuel injection.   If your M-B CPO vehicle is equipped with 4-wheel drive, 4MATIC^TM all-wheel drive or any other traction and stability enhancements (ASD, ASR, ESP, ETS), these systems are covered as well.

Audio and Navigation Systems
Covers in0dash audio and/or navigation head unit, amplifiers, speakers, factory or dealer-installed Mercedes-Benz CD player and/or changer, navigation CD/DVD-ROM drive, satellite radio components, fiber-optic network components and antenna systems.

Steering/Suspension/Brakes
Covers the complete power steering system.  Comprehensive coverage of suspension components and the Adaptive Dampling System or Active Body Control (if equipped).  Covers all elements (excluding normal wear of discs and pads), including the Antilock Braking System.

Electrical System
Covers various electrical systems.  Includes most motors, gauges, connectors, switches, sensors, regulators and relays.

Climate Control System
Coverage applies to certain items of the vehicle's manual or automatic climate control system, including the system's air conditioning and heating assemblies.

Central Locking System
Covers all the actuators, switches and linkages, remote transmitters (excluding batteries) and receivers for the remote locking system.

Convertible/Retractable Top Systems
The top-actuation systems and roll bar mechanism are fully covered.

Other Components and Further Details

1.   Whichever comes first. If the vehicle is still covered by the New Vehicle Warranty at the time of M-B CPO purchase, that coverage continues from the vehicle's original in-service date and will apply until expiration by time duration or mileage. Limited Warranty M-B CPO coverage will then apply for 12 additional months or up to 100,000 total vehicle miles, whichever comes first.
